This camera had its quirks, as with all “older-than-your -dad” cameras. One of the fastest things to go south was the lightmeter, since so many years had passed from the manufacturing these selenium cells. Moist or humid environment exposed to light, improper storage, made these electric eyes to decay and become slow in reading light or plain dead. Either way, you cannot use it anymore for photography. However, there is a way around it, replacing the older selenium cells with silicone ones.
